Michael Jacobson was born January 22, 1986 on the Columbus AFB, Columbus, Mississippi to Terry and Beth Ann Fuchs Jacobson. He grew up in Barnesville and attended Atkinson Elementary at Barnesville. He graduated from Barnesville High School in 2004. 

Michael entered the Army on February 24, 2004 and was sent to Fort Benning, Georgia for basic training. He attended advanced training at Fort Benning as well.  His duty stations included Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Moorhead  Armory at Moorhead, Minnesota.  His units include HHC Co.,  2-136 Infantry, and Alpha Co., 2-8 Infantry. Michael received an honorable discharge on May 13, 2013.

He currently lives in Wolverton, Minnesota.
