Albert Johnson

Albert Johnson was born January 10, 1913 in Shevlin, Minnesota to Swan Wicktor Johnson and Lucy Ferey Johnson. He grew up in the Shevlin/Moose Creek area and attended school through the 8th grade at Moose Creek Township School. 

Albert entered the Army on March 5, 1942 at Fort Snelling and was sent to Lebanon, Missouri for basic training for his MOS – truck driver. He was sent for duty to Monterey, California following training. Albert received an honorable discharge on January 3, 1944. 

Albert passed away on June 10, 1992 and is buried in Clearwater Lutheran Cemetery in Shevlin.
