Allen Aamodt was born September 3, 1930 in Bagley to Alfred and Emma Aamodt. He grew up in the Bagley area and attended school in Bagley. 

Allen entered the Army in 1952. He was sent to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Following training he was sent to Japan to build bridges. He was honorably discharged in 1954.

Allen died in February of 2016 and is buried in the Bagley City Cemetery.
