Bradley D. Maruska was born August 15, 1948 in Fosston to Ray and Elsie Maruska. He grew up south of Ebro. He attended Bagley schools until the 8th grade, then graduated from Fosston High School in 1966. 

Bradley entered the Army on June 21, 1968 and was sent to Fort Lewis, Washington for basic training. He attended advanced training to be a military policeman at Fort Gordon, Georgia. From there he was sent to Phu Bai, Vietnam with the 504th Military Police Co., 18th M.P. Brigade. He received an honorable discharge on January 22, 1970.

Bradley presently lives in Bagley, Minnesota.
