Byron Edevold

Byron Edevold was born September 3, 1950 in Bagley, Minnesota to parents Lloyd Ernest and Lila Ronning Edevold. He grew up in Minerva Township and attended elementary school there. He attended high school at Bagley High School.

Byron entered the Army on February 17, 1970 and was sent to Fort Lewis, Washington for basic training. He was sent for advanced training in field artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. His howitzer battery was then sent to Vietnam with the 2nd Squadron, 11th Armed Cavalry Regiment. He received an honorable discharge on September 22, 1971 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

He currently lived in Minerva Township with his wife Nancy.
