Colton C. Adams was born April 26, 1997 in Bemidji to Dale and Roberta Dukek Adams. He attended Bagley schools and graduated from Bagley in 2015.

Colton enlisted in the Army on December 14, 2015 and was sent to San Diego for basic training. He received advanced training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Colton was stationed with the 1st Marine Division Battalion Truck Company at Camp Pendleton, California. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, the War on Terrorism Medal and the Marksman Medal. A highlight of his tour of duty was being selected to meet President Trump in California. Colton received an honorable discharge in March of 2018.
