Dale Kenneth Davis was born July 15, 1946 in Mahnomen to Ronald and Ruth Davis. He grew up in the Mahnomen area.

Dale joined the Army on December 14, 1965 and served in the Vietnam War. He received an honorable discharge on November 24, 1967. Dale suffered from Agent Orange the rest of his life.

Dale passed away on June 12, 1999 and is buried in Nora Township Cemetery near Bagley.
