David B. Iverson was born May 17, 1955 in Clearwater County to parents Conrad and Helena Iverson. He grew up in the Bagley area and attended Bagley schools. He graduated from Bagley High School in 1973.

David enlisted in the Marine Corps in spring of 1974 and was sent to San Diego for boot camp. He was then sent to Honolulu, Hawaii for training in communications. After advanced training he was stationed in Honolulu with a communication support company. He received an honorable discharge in 1976.

David presently lives in Bagley.
