Donald Leroy Blomdahl Sr was born on August 26, 1936 in Bagley, Minnesota, the son of William and Alma Kildal Blomdahl. He graduated from Bagley High School in 1954, then enlisted in the U S Navy. He had two sisters, Helen and Donna.

He married Nancy L. Rauhauser in Margate, Atlantic, New Jersey in May, 1975.

After discharge he worked at Bennet Chevrolet in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey as an auto mechanic and salesman and was the owner/candymaker of Rauhauser’s Candles until retiring in 2012.  He had children Donald Jr, Debbie, Lisa, Rodney, Amanda and Kristin. 

Donald died at the age of 82 on January 5, 2019 in Pomona and is buried at Seaside Crematory in Palermo.
