Dr. David “Doc” Sandwick was born August 3, 1937 in Faribault, Minnesota to Willie and Thelma Sandwick. He graduated from Laporte High School in 1955.

He enlisted in the Navy in 1962. He was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base until his honorable discharge in 1964.

Dr. Sandwick was a long-time, well-respected dentist in Bagley. He passed away September 4, 2015 and is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas
