Floyd Glen Baumann was born July 17, 1911 at Portal, North Dakota to Edward and Mabel Baumann. He moved to Bagley with his family in 1914 when he was three years old. He attended Ruffy Brook School. 

Floyd was a WWII Army veteran and member of the American Legion for 50 years. He joined the Army on March 5, 1942 and was honorably discharged November 20, 1945 at war’s end.

Floyd passed away January 1, 1994 and is buried in Bagley City Cemetery.
