FLOYD MATTHEW KAISER

Floyd Matthew Kaiser was born June 23, 1936, to Anthony and Rose (Brandl) Kaiser in Carver, Minnesota. He was the youngest of seven children. Floyd graduated from Rockford in 1954, and then enlisted in the US Army in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1959.

Floyd married Adele Bourgeois on November 3, 1962 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton, Minnesota. They purchased a farm in Jenkins, MN in 1963, where nine children were born, and in 1978, moved to a farm near Shevlin, MN, where two more children were born. 

His children were:

Son – Aaron (Darcie) Kaiser of Bagley, MN
Son – Chad (Bernadette) Kaiser of Shevlin, MN
Son – Matthew (Ginger) Kaiser of Blackduck, MN
Daughter – Margarette (Randy) Rue of Fosston, MN
Son – Paul (Stephanie) Kaiser of Shevlin, MN

Floyd had a passion for farming and raising livestock. He raised buffalo to peacocks, and everything in between; and also had a love for Collies. He was an active member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, the National Farmers Organization (NFO), and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bagley, MN.

Floyd is buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bagley, MN.
