Harold Walter Anderson was born April 9, 1932 in rural Crary, North Dakota to Asmund and Johanna Anderson. He grew up in the Crary/Devils Lake area and attended school at Southam, North Dakota.
Harold entered the Army in 1952 and was sent to Fort Sill, Oklahoma for basic and advanced training. He then was sent to Korea with the 199th Artillery Division. He received an honorable discharge in March of 1954.
Harold presently lives in Bagley, Minnesota.
