Harvey Earl Marshall was born November 23, 1938 in Bagley to Earl and Sophie Hendrickson Marshall of Holst Township. Earl was a North Dakota native who moved to this area in 1920 and married Sophie Hendrickson on December 22, 1930.  Earl and Sophie had three daughters: Dorothy, Edith and Irene and four sons: Donald, Clifford, Harvey and Arlen. Harvey attended Bagley High School, then enlisted in the Air Force on October 8, 1957.  He received his basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas, then was transferred for further training at Chanute AFB, Illinois. He was stationed in New Mexico, France, Florida, Germany, Indiana, Vietnam (2 tours), Illinois, England and Colorado. His specialty was Machinist and 1^st Sgt in various aircraft maintenance squadrons, combat engineers, and HQ Squadron. Harvey retired in November of 1983 and lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
