Harvey E. Stinar

Harvey Elof Stinar was born June 20, 1932 in Ebro, Minnesota to Andrew and Edna Erickson Stinar. He grew up in Ebro and attended school there. 

Harvey enlisted in the Army on October 24, 1952 during the Korean War. He was sent to Fort Benning, Georgia for basic and advanced training. He was a paratrooper, trainer/instructor and parachute packer and repairman at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was a member of Co. H, Airborne Battalion, 1st SR ISD TSB. Harvey received an honorable discharge on October 23, 1954.

Harvey passed away April 17, 2003 and is buried in Bagley City Cemetery.
