Howard C. “Lars” Wolberg was born May 17, 1942 in Bagley to Alfred and Mabel Wolberg. He grew up in Bagley and graduated from Bagley High School.

Lars joined the Air Force on July 7, 1960 and was sent to Lackland Air Force Base for basic training. He was then sent to Chanute AFB in Illinois for training in aircraft and missile ground support equipment (AGE). Following training he was sent to Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota for duty with the 28th Combat Support Group. He received an honorable discharge on July 6, 1964. 

Lars passed away on October 24, 2019 and is buried in Bagley City Cemetery.
