Jack Duane Johnson

Jack (Jackie) Duane Johnson was born March 1, 1933 in Rugby, North Dakota to parents Clarence and Dora Johnson. He had six sisters and five brothers. He moved to a farm near Clearbrook at a young age and attended Beard School northeast of Clearbrook. He was confirmed at the Seljord Lutheran Church on August 22, 1948.

On February 17, 1951 Jackie married Ione Bjerke and they had one son, Stanley Duane.

Jackie joined the Air Corps in August of 1951, where he served until the time of his passing on June 22, 1952. He was attached to Luke Air Force Base at Phoenix with the 3602 AF Maintenance Squad.

Military services were arranged by Melvin Johnson Legion Post of Clearbrook. Jackie is buried in Friendship Cemetery, Leon Township.
