Jennings Dennis Sunderland  was born February 20, 1931 in Bagley to Tobias and Agnes Fotland Sunderland. He grew up in the Bagley area and attended country school through the 8th grade.

Jennings entered the Army on June 19, 1956 and was honorably discharged on June 5, 1958.

Jennings passed away June 12, 2011 and is buried in the Minerva Township Cemetery.
