Jerome “Jerry” Jacobson was born July 19, 1938 in Clearwater County, Minnesota to Roy E. and Myrtle Jacobson. He grew up in the Bagley area and attended elementary school at District 54. He graduated from Bagley High School in 1957.

Jerry enlisted in the Army on November 5, 1958 and was sent to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for basic training. He then attended signal school at Fort Lewis, Washington and Fort Huachuca, Arizona. His MOS was Field Radio Repairman.  Jerry was honorably discharged on February 13, 1962.

Jerry passed away on August 16, 2020 and his remains cremated.
