John Richard Wynkoop – (1915-1982) – US ARMY veteran (1942-1945) that served during World War II and is buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Clair County, Michigan. TEC 5 John Wynkoop was the son of Floyd and Mary Wynkoop, who grew up near Shevlin, MN, married Ilene (Winch) Wynkoop in 1945 in Clearwater County, and later moved to Fort Gratiot, Michigan area in the 1950’s.
