Joseph Melvin Nyquist – (1921-1970) – US ARMY veteran (1943-1945) that served during World War II as a medic and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Cpl Joe Nyquist was the son of Albert and Mathilda Nyquist who moved into Bagley in the 1930’s. He was husband to Mary (Johnson) Nyquist and lived in Minneapolis, MN.
