Kenneth Ames
Kenneth Ames was born on January 29, 1949 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota to Harry and Marjorie Ames. He grew up in the Bagley area and attended school in Minerva and Bagley. He graduated from Bagley High School in 1967.
Kenneth entered the Army on September 18, 1967 and was sent to Fort Lewis, Washington for basic training. He completed advanced training as a Construction Machine Operator and 62E20 Crawler Tractor Operator. He was attached to Delta Co., 4th Eng. Battalion and Company B, 818th Eng. Battalion, USAIC TC 3A. He served at Fort Benning, Georgia and at Pleiku, Vietnam. Kenneth received an Honorable Discharge on June 17, 1970.
Kenneth presently lives in Bagley, Minnesota.
