Kenneth James Foldoe was born June 4, 1922 in Bagley to Carl and Fenanda Foldoe. He grew up in Bagley and attended country school.

Kenneth entered the Army on January 20, 1943 and was sent to Camp Roberts, California for basic training. He also received advanced training as a rifleman at Camp Roberts. After training he saw duty in Australia, New Guinea, Hollandia, Biwak, the Philippines, Leyte, Luzon and Mindanao. He rose to the rank of staff sergeant with E company, 2nd Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment, 24th Division. He received an honorable discharge on November 14, 1945.

He presently lives in Bagley.
