L. Michael Stinar

L. Michael Stinar was born October 11, 1967 in Bagley to Leonard and Kathy Danks Stinar. He grew up in rural Ebro and attended school in Bagley, graduating from Bagley High School in 1986. 

Michael entered the Marine Corps on August 8, 1986 and was sent to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at San Diego for boot camp. He received advanced training as a mortarman (forward observer) at Camp Pendleton as well. After training he was stationed at 29 Palms, California and at Camp Pendleton. He served with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines Regiment and the 1st and 3rd Battalions, 1st Marine Regiment. He received an honorable discharge on August 8, 1992 as a Sergeant (E-5.)

Michael currently resides in Bagley.
