Lloyd “Porkchops” Halseth
Lloyd “Porkchops” Halseth was born September 8, 1917 in North Dakota to parents Adolph and Lisa Halseth. He grew up in Bagley, Minnesota and attended public schools in Bagley.
Lloyd was drafted into the Army in 1941 and was given the speciality of cook. He cooked for the 71st Infantry in Europe during WWII. He was later honorably discharged.
Lloyd died March 12, 1983 and is buried in Bagley City Cemetery.
