Mark W. Sederquist was born February 13, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Mark and Helen Sederquist. He grew up in Milaca and attended Woodlake Elementary School in Richfield. He graduated from Milaca High School in 1951.

Mark enlisted in the Air Force on February 11, 1954 and was sent to Lackland Air force Base for basic training. He received training as a pilot at Barstow and Lubbock, Texas and Wichita, Kansas. After training he was stationed with pilot training and Strategic Air Command at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas, Topeka, Kansas and Mountain Home, Idaho. Mark received an honorable discharge on December 4, 1958.

Mark currently lives in Milaca, Minnesota.
