Paul A. Tobkin

Paul Arthur Tobkin was born to Arthur D. and Leona M. Tobkin on December 16, 1969, in St. Paul, MN.  He spent approximately 6 years growing up in the Maplewood, MN.  In 1976, his family moved to Bagley, MN.  Paul attended elementary and high school in Bagley, MN and graduated in 1988.  Paul then attended the University of North Dakota for one year. 

Paul entered the US Air Force in December 1989. Paul served at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX; Sembach Air Base, Germany; and Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK.

Paul Tobkin served during the Panama Conflict (12/89 to 1/90) and during the Gulf War (8/90 to Present). Paul Tobkin was assigned to Civil Engineering Squadrons, and participated in Operation Provide Comfort (4/91 to 7/91); serving as part of a Base Engineers Expeditionary Force (USAF PRIME BEEF), stationed at Yuksekova, Turkey.

Operation Provide Comfort came under the authority of the U.S. European Command (EUCOM), headquartered in Vaihingen, Germany.

Paul Tobkin was separated from the USAF in August 1993 and returned to post-secondary schooling at the University of North Dakota, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering in 1997. Paul later served in an USAF Reserve Civil Engineering Squadron at the Joint Base Twin Cities.

Paul, with his wife Carrie, and their three sons, Matthew, Nicholas and Luke, reside southwest of Detroit Lakes, MN.  Paul is a Sales Engineer for Forterra.
