Phillip Alfvar Allen – (1915-1995) – US NAVY veteran (1943-1945) during World War II and is buried at Samhold Lutheran Cemetery in Gonvick, MN. MM1 Phillip Allen was the son of David and Gerda Allen of Gonvick, MN and husband to Doris (Bagne) Allen. He was a businessman in Gonvick for most of his life.
