Richard Lee “Dick” Davis was born September 27, 1928 in Bemidji to Clyde and Velma Parks Davis. He grew up in the Bemidji area and attended Northern Elementary School and Bemidji High School. 

Dick enlisted in the Air Force in 1945. He received an honorable discharge on April 1, 1948.

Dick passed away on August 18, 2013 and is buried in Clearwater Lutheran Cemetery near Shevlin.
