Roger “James” Patzner

Roger “James” Patzner was born February 28, 1934 in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, a ward of the state. He spent his childhood in various boy’s homes before joining the military. He graduated from Minneapolis Vocational High School in 1952. 

After high school he immediately enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps and was sent to El Toro, California. He later enlisted in the Air Force, the Army and the National Guard.  

Following the military, James worked at a dental lab in Minneapolis. He later moved to Bagley and helped raise Richard and Sarah Cole.

James passed away November 24, 2010 after spending his golden years at Sunset Home and Golden Acres in Bagley. He was cremated and there was no burial.
