Teresa “Rocky” Rockensock

Teresa Rockensock was born December 21, 1970 in Bemidji to Raymond and Joan Olson Rockensock of Shevlin. She grew up east of Shevlin and attended Shevlin Elementary School and Bagley High School. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1989 and entered the Army on June 22, 1989.

She was sent to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for basic training and training as a Food Service Specialist.  Following training she was sent to Fort Hood, Texas as part of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 62nd Engineers Battalion.

In 1990 Teresa served with Headquarters Company, 20th Engineer Battalion, 18th Airborne Corps in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq.

Teresa was released from active duty on September 20, 1991 and presently lives in Waco, Texas.
