Terry W. Jacobson was born September 22, 1964 in Bagley, Minnesota to Jerome and Rachelle Jacobson. He grew up in Barnesville, Minnesota and attended Atkinson Elementary and Dilworth Elementary Schools. He graduated from Barnesville High School in 1983.

Terry entered the Air Force December  of 1982 and was sent to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas for basic training. He attended advanced training at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas and Holloman AFB in Almogordo, New Mexico. After training he was stationed at Columbus AFB in Columbus, Mississippi and with the Air National Guard at Fargo as a T-38A crew chief and an F-16A crew chief. He was with the 14 OMS in Columbus, Mississippi and the 119th TFW in Fargo. Terry received an honorable discharge in March of 1999.

Terry currently resides in Bagley.
