Wesley “Wes” Noreen Westrum – (1922-2002) – US ARMY AIRBORNE veteran (1943-1945) that served during World War II as a paratrooper and is buried in Silver Creek Cemetery, Clearbrook, MN. He was born in Clearbrook to Harry and Mabel Westrum and spent his pre-war years in that area. After the war he became a pro baseball player with the New York Giants for eleven years, and later a manager as well. There is a Wes Westrum museum in Clearbrook honoring his career. He was married to Josephine (Caccoma) Westrum.
