Jacob Crist was born March 1, 1988 in Beltrami County to Wayde and Kimberly Crist. He grew up in Bagley and graduated from Bagley High School.

Jacob enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. His military specialty was unmanned aircraft. He received an honorable discharge on January 19, 2017.

Jacob currently lives in Roosevelt, Minnesota.
